About Us
|
|
| |
This is our first year in business as an outfitter and lodge provider.
Please let us tell you why we choose to build this place of peace in
the country.
For 3 years we were on the road working disaster relief for hurricanes and storms. We were rebuilding what nature took away.
For
those 3 years we were so busy we couldn't even dream about hunting or
relaxation. As far as hunting goes we didn't have time to scout, find
land (even public) or devote any time to any pre hunting activities at
all. We worked incredibly long hours sometimes 7 days a week.
Each
year, James barely squeezed away to hunt for 3 days at an outfitters
lodge. If not for those outfitters there would have been 3 years with
no hunting.
Each of those 3 days were priceless refuges of
stress relief that was desperately needed due to the incredible work
load we were doing at the time. Even though James didn’t shoot a buck
on any of those hunts (a friend did though) He felt like I was being
taken care of, and got to experience the joy of “being in the hunt”
each year. The outfitters did all the work that James didn't have the
time to do and he was allowed to show up and hunt. Otherwise he would
have missed 3 years of hunting.
So while at the last outfitters
he visited he decided he wanted one of these stress busting retreats
and we built this place of relaxation and peace in the woods.
Now
we run hunts....we want everyone to have a good time and if possible
everyone kill a buck, but we know that everyone is not going to. We
have free ranging low fence land for people to hunt that can't or don't
have the time to set up their own trips but still want to hunt. Where
some people live there is zero possibility of shooting a 150 class buck
and this lodge provides that possibility as well as a stress busting
resort experience.
